Bronx levellers can be supplied in a variety of configurations, including 11, 17, 21 or 23 work rolls suitable for hot and cold rolled steel, coated, stainless steel and aluminium. All the work rolls are fully supported by heavy duty back up bearing assemblies with djustments where applicable using motorised wedge units.
Bronx Precision Levellers can be used as stand-alone sheet levellers, for use in coil cut up lines or in continuous strip processes with throughput speeds up to 300 metres per minute.
All Bronx Precision Levellers are designed to enable full roll cassette removal through the front of the machine utilising a roll change rig. Quick release drive spindles enable roll changes to be made with a minimum of downtime.
All adjustments are motorised and to enable close control of the leveller setting, a display unit on the control console allows the operator to make finite settings of the leveller penetration and roll bend condition.
